Why is ‘Love’ not ‘love’? Use structure to support your view.
‘Love’ isn’t ‘love’ because the first love is actually more like
lust. It’s not real love because it will
alter when ‘alteration finds’. Because
the first ‘love’ is under a feminine stress it is weak and can be broken
easily.
Because ‘Love’ is like lust it may suggest that lust comes before
real love. Some may think that Beauty
comes first, this is why Claudio refers to Hero as a ‘jewel’. There is also a suggestion that people marry
for lust as much as they marry for ‘love’.
Leonato eventually forces Claudio
to remove appearance from his decision making process.
Why is ‘Love’ not ‘Time’s fool’?
‘Love’ should be ‘eternal’.
Love will live on and eventually outlive Time, or at least not become a
slave to Time.
